China INSOnline has appointed William Han to serve as president, who will share responsibilities for leading the company along with the CEO Betty Xu. However and will focus on new business development.

Mr Han has more than 25 years experience in senior government, IT and corporate roles. He worked as senior manager of multi-industry CITIC Pacific and executive director and executive deputy manager of its subsidiary called China UIP.

Mr Han has founded Ewintop Technology Consultants, which focused on government projects. He also served as general manager of Sunray Technology, specializing in software development and in Huanan Computer Company that belonged to the state ministry of electronics. He acted as a director in the systems department where he was involved in various central government computer projects.

Mr Han, said: I am very pleased to be joining the talented and capable team at China INSOnline, which has been an Internet pioneer in China’s young and developing insurance industry. I believe the company is poised to build a much stronger business around its core insurance portal and I look forward to helping it grow and serving our shareholders.
