Chartis UK appoints new manager for PCG operations

Chartis Insurance UK has appointed Guy Huntley as new manager of private client group (PCG) in the UK. PCG is Chartis high net worth (HNW) business.

In addition to the UK, Huntley has responsibilities for Chartis’ PCG operations in Europe and will be key to developing future growth of the business across Europe.

Previously, Huntley was underwriting centre manager for Private Client Group in California.

Chartis PCG vice president Ann Owen said Huntley’s appointment is an excellent example of the strength of Chartis’ international network, and ability to share resources and best practice across the group.

In the seven years since we started underwriting HNW business in the UK we have built a strong practice focusing on the top end of the market. Guy’s expertise will help us to take this to the next level,” Owen said.
