Capitol Insurance Companies has expanded the availability of accident insurance products for athletic and non-athletic activities for both adults and youths through a newly designed quick quote feature on its agent portal.
According to Capitol, the new quick quote feature will allow agents and brokers to rate, quote and bind coverage in a efficient manner.
The features of accident insurance product includes: coverage written on admitted paper; efficient policy limit and deductible options; available coverage on either primary or excess basis; minimum premium of $150; claim management services; and agency commissions.
The new product is available to protect participants against accidental death, dismemberment or injury and also to provide coverage for associated medical expenses, said the company.
Eligible sports activities include baseball, softball, basketball, archery, dance studios, martial arts, football, lacrosse, hockey, skating, polo, swimming, tennis, volleyball and wrestling. The eligible non-sports activities include Junior ROTC, daycare, sports and summer camps and special events.
