US vehicle insurer Canal Insurance has appointed John DiBlanda as its senior vice president and chief financial officer.
Having more than 30 years of experience in insurance sector, DiBlanda has served in executive positions at Delos Insurance, Gallagher Re, Centre Reinsurance and KPMG.
Prior to joining Canal Insurance, he was working as executive vice president and chief operating / financial officer at Valiant Insurance Group, the US Operations of the Bermuda based Ariel Holdings
Canal Insurance president and chief executive officer David Firstenberg said that the firm is pleased to name John as senior vice president & chief financial officer.
"John brings the combination of financial expertise and insurance industry experience that will enable Canal to build on its tremendous history and recent achievements to help write the next chapter in a unique success story," Firstenberg said.
