CPA-focused provider of specialty liability insurance for the accounting profession CAMICO has established Subpoena Services Resource Center, intended to improve subpoena services for its policyholder.
In addition to providing information, resources and template letters pertaining to subpoenas, including a comprehensive "Frequently Asked Questions" document, the services resource center provides related materials on internal revenue service and treasury regulations.
The center will complement policyholders with claims hotline for individual specialized assistance.
CAMICO vice president of claims Hillary Bates said that the center will assist and enable policyholders to better understand of what to expect.
"With this additional benefit, policyholders now have even more tools to help them minimize professional liability risk and manage their practices," Bates added.
CAMICO offers an array of other practice management tools including a loss prevention hotline, a tax advice hotline, an accounting and auditing hotline, and pre-claim and claim assistance for policyholders to protect CPAs from potential claims.
