US-based Cameron Mutual Insurance has selected StoneRiver's Billing Stream and Claims Stream to help modernise its customer service.

According to StoneRiver, the Billing Stream selection represents next step in Cameron’s plans to modernize its technology environment by replacing its legacy mainframe systems.

Already deployed with StoneRiver for policy administration, the Billing Stream will help Cameron offer enhanced customer service, so as to maintain and strengthen its differentiator as a service focused business.

Cameron Insurance president and CEO Gary Myers said the company is acting on its strategic plan to modernize its operating environment and position organization for the future.

”Key to our effort is the implementation of StoneRiver systems to enable us to provide the desired processes, efficiencies, and services, while reducing operational costs," Myers added.

StoneRiver president and CEO Gary Sherne said: ”Cameron’s selection of Billing Stream and Claims Stream is evidence of the increasing market demand for our Stream Suite of products and further validation that we have taken the right approach to product introduction and market development."

Billing Stream will also enable Cameron to offer new billing options, including Web billing, reduce operational costs, improve processing efficiencies, apart from allowing for easier integration of third party systems across the organization.

Cameron’s multi-phased program also includes deployment of Claims Stream, to help enhance its customer service.
