Brown & Brown has expanded the Lawyer's Protector Plan (LPP) liability program, which it runs in partnership with Navigators Insurance Company, to include law firms with up to 34 attorneys effective 1 October 2010.

The LPP is a division of B&B Protector Plans, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brown & Brown, and a provider of professional liability insurance to small law firms in the US.

In November 2009, Brown & Brown and Navigators created the national lawyers’ professional liability insurance programs in the US by combining their law firm programs designed for firms of one to 19 attorneys .

B&B Protector Plans EVP Laura Simon said that the LPP has been dedicated to meeting professional liability insurance needs of lawyers for around 27 years, and in partnership with Navigators the company looks forward to extend its shared expertise to law firms with up to 34 attorneys.
