Insurance firm Brown & Brown has settled a lawsuit against its former employees Jim Henderson, Thomas Riley, Eric Anderson, Stanley Kinnett, Paul Vredenburg and their new company, AssuredPartners.
Brown & Brown said the settlement amount to be paid by the defendants is confidential.
However, the both the parties agreed to an order entered by the court that includes certain restrictions on the defendants, according to Brown & Brown.
Brown & Brown president and CEO Powell Brown said the it is satisfied with the settlement in this litigation, and the firm believes this matter was resolved appropriately within the judicial system.
