Brown & Brown of Kentucky, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Brown & Brown, has completed acquisition of certain assets of Gilbert RV Insurance.

Gilbert RV Insurance, which possesses combined annual revenues of $2.4m, will function as a branch location of Brown & Brown’s recreational vehicle division under the leadership of Mike Neal, as part of the acquisition.

Brown & Brown regional president and chief acquisitions officer Scott Penny said: ”The acquisition of Gilbert RV Insurance, along with our prior acquisitions of RV America and Reed Brothers, allows Brown & Brown’s recreational vehicle division to become the preeminent supplier of personal lines and commercial insurance products to the RV, auto, marine and power sport industries."

Established in 1992, Gilbert RV Insurance is a provider of personal lines property and casualty insurance products and warranty products for recreational vehicles, including RVs, trailers, boats, motorcycles, as well as other power sport vehicles.

Brown & Brown provides a broad range of insurance and reinsurance products and related services through its subsidiaries, some of which also offer risk management, third-party administration, and other services across the US.
