Brit Insurance, a general insurance and reinsurance group, has appointed Jon Sullivan as head of property treaty. He is likely to join the firm in autumn.
According to Brit, the move will combine the its North American and International property treaty reinsurance teams to create worldwide specialist property operation.
Sullivan, who will joins from Torus, will report to Brit Reinsurance CEO Jonathan Turner.
Turner said Jon has a wealth of experience and skills from over 20 years in the market, as a broker and as an underwriter in both London and Bermuda.
"He will play an instrumental part in the continued development and focus of our property treaty portfolio," Turner said.
