Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona (BCBSAZ) has named Jeff Stelnik as new senior vice president of strategy, sales and marketing. Recently, he was appointed to lead the strategy and informatics department, and will continue to do so.
Effective May 2, Stelnik will oversee marketing and sales for BCBSAZ. His continued leadership will also facilitate using data and analytics to support BCBSAZ’s vision to provide the best value in health insurance in Arizona.
Stelnik’s previous experience includes leadership roles at health care providers, including sales and marketing oversight. Since 2009, he has been an essential senior executive at BCBSAZ, lending strategic advice and leveraging his expertise to guide the actuarial and informatics departments.
BCBSAZ executive vice president of external operations Sandy Gibson said that his broad experience in the industry and track record of success will ensure the continued success in the ever-changing health care environment.
