The British Insurance Brokers' Association has announced the launch of the new BIBA protect holiday travel scheme by Tokio Marine Europe Insurance, to provide insurance cover for the association members' clients.
The coverage includes: single and annual multi trip cover with GBP10 million medical cover and independent travel for all insured persons including children and single excess applies per family, per incident.
Adults can be covered up to the age of 85 years on a single trip policy. It covers adults over 75 years on an annual multi-trip policy for Europe and 70 years on an annual multi-trip policy for rest of the world.
Graeme Trudgill, technical and corporate affairs executive of British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA), said: Tokio Marine will be a new addition to the BIBA scheme map. This, our flagship scheme, is superior to the previous offering with more competitive rates and increased age limits. Many hazardous sports are included as standard and there is no terrorism exclusion.
