The British Insurance Brokers' Association has launched a scheme specifically for the late-night entertainment industry to cover extended opening hours, following the Licensing Act 2003.
The new scheme, known as ClubPM, has been created in collaboration with Lloyd’s broker and British Insurance Brokers’ Association (BIBA) member Maestro Tasker to provide competitive cover for nightclubs, dance venues, live entertainment venues and late licensed bars.
ClubPM offers discounts to BIBA brokers and clients that show a sensible attitude to managing risk and provides assistance via its ClubSAFE risk management specialist.
Other benefits of the scheme include electronic documentation issued at inception, low excesses and discounted rates and an optional three-year long-term agreement.
With the modern extended licensing hours there are more venues offering late night entertainment, this new scheme gives BIBA brokers the opportunity to generate new business through these potential clients, commented Graeme Trudgill, BIBA technical services manager.
