B&B Protector Plans has appointed Aspen US Insurance as the new carrier for the Lawyer's Protector Plan, which will provide lawyers professional liability coverage to law firms with one to 20 attorneys.

The exceptions are California, Florida, Illinois and Pennsylvania where the program will be available to law firms with one to 9 attorneys, the company said.

B&B Protector Plans executive vice president and LPP Program program manager Laura Simon said that the partnership will provide underwriting, claims, and risk management solutions to the small and mid-size law firm market.

Aspen professional liability senior vice president Justin Camara commented, "The addition of this program broadens our Professional Liability offering to law firms of all sizes and reflects our commitment to selectively expand our product offering in our target market segments."
