Baloise Insurance has named Bernard Dietrich, who until now has been in charge of product management private customers, as the new head of sales and marketing. He will replace Daniel Fluri, who will retire at end of the year.

Mr Dietrich worked for Baloise Insurance, first as a general agent and then as a regional director. He has been a member of the executive management as director of product development private customers for a year.

In conjunction, Wolfgang Prasser has been named as the head of product management private customers. He worked for various insurance companies in Austria, including Baloise Austria. He served most recently as a regional manager in international corporate division in charge of coordination of further expansion of activities in Austria and Eastern Europe.

Olav Noack, CEO of Baloise Switzerland, said: “Both Bernard Dietrich and Wolfgang Prasser combine sales with the product view thanks to their previous professional activity. This is an important precondition for implementing our strategy of a general sales orientation and end-to-end responsibility.”
