Insurance holding company Baldwin & Lyons, has selected Accenture (ACN) to enhance its core insurance system with a software platform that can help consolidate processes for increased efficiencies and faster response to market changes.
Baldwin & Lyons will use Accenture Duck Creek Policy and Accenture Duck Creek Billing software for quoting, underwriting, billing and policy lifecycle support. Based in Carmel, Indiana, Baldwin & Lyons, Inc. specializes in marketing and underwriting insurance for the transportation industry.
Accenture Duck Creek Policy and Accenture Duck Creek Billing include out-of-the-box functionality that will help Baldwin & Lyons further streamline operations, enable more advanced cost management processes and continuously improve the company’s services for agents and customers.
Duck Creek Policy will help Baldwin & Lyons launch products even more quickly, as the software includes codeless configuration capabilities that allow agents to define new products built on fully structured, industry-based templates.
With centralized management for both agency and direct billing activities, Duck Creek Billing will allow Baldwin & Lyons to offer customers more payment options and help improve collection rates and response time to billing inquiries.
