AXA Equitable Life Insurance Company has named David O'Leary as the new executive vice president (EVP) of Financial Protection, and Robert Wright as EVP of Wealth Management.
In his new role, O’Leary will be responsible for four major units of financial protection: business management and operations; product life cycle management; product design and manufacturing; and distribution management.
Wright in his new position, will be responsible for management oversight of AXA Advisors’ 45 branch offices and around 6,000 financial professionals, and leads communications, marketing and merchandising functions for the channel.
AXA Equitable chairman and CEO Christopher Condron said that David and Bucky both bring the right balance of product manufacturing, wealth management and distribution experience to the company’s Financial Protection and Wealth Management business.
In conjunction, the company has also appointed Scott Long, Steven Rosenthal and Todd Solash as the new senior vice presidents.
