AXA Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary has named Adam Wickens as its senior management liability underwriter in the directors and officers team.
Based in London, Wickens in his new role will support the company’s management liability division.
Joined from Ace Europe, he will also be responsible for management liability underwriting for the London, Ipswich and Reading branches.
AXA Commercial Lines and Personal Intermediary head of management Callum Taylor was quoted by InsuranceTimes as saying that the hiring was a part of its expansion plan.
"It’s clear to see that while some insurers are pulling back from the regions, AXA is investing in its regional offices – making underwriting expertise available to brokers on their doorstep," Taylor added.
