UK insurer Aviva has selected Guidewire Software as its new claims management platform for personal lines business.


Guidewire’s ClaimCenter will enbale Aviva to increase data insight, automate routine processes and allow rapid deployment in the coming months.

Aviva has already deployed ClaimCenter for its commercial lines business.

ClaimCenter will allow the insurance firm to work in a range of new ways, supported by a unified claims management platform.

Aviva UK claims director Rob Townend said: "Claims handling can be a significant differentiator for a profitable business.

"Moving to a single platform with Guidewire’s core processing product, ClaimCenter, is a worthwhile investment decision that will underpin more flexibility and innovation for Aviva."

Guidewire Software EMEA managing director Keith Stonell said: "Aviva has been a Guidewire customer since 2012.

"We are very pleased that they have chosen to expand the use of ClaimCenter to their personal lines business and look forward to supporting them as they deliver a high-quality, differentiated claims service."

Aviva offers life insurance, general insurance, health insurance and asset management services to about 33 million customers in around 16 countries, including the Europe, Asia and Canada.
