Aviva and Gallagher Heath’s household e-underwriting team have signed an underwriting and marketing agreement for standard and non-standard household products.

Over a three-year period, the agreement is likely to generate more than £200m in gross written premium.

Aviva pictured, intermediary and partnerships director Janice Deakin said that the partnership for non-standard household business is expected to leverage the company’s personal lines household market as well as to include additional areas of standard household business.

Gallagher Heath’s schemes and affinity division managing director Des O’Connor said, "We are delighted that this deal widens our underwriting capabilities, offers choice to policyholders and strengthens the underwriting partnership of OIM and Aviva."
