Assured Agencies, a Florida-based investor in property and casualty and employee benefits brokerage business, has appointed Eric Anderson as new senior vice president.
In this role, Anderson will oversee acquisitions and operations in the Pacific Northwest, Kentucky and Indiana.
Anderson has over 20 years of experience in overseeing retail insurance agency operations and identifying acquisitions.
Anderson will join Assured Agencies from Brown & Brown, where he most recently served as regional vice president and was responsible for retail operations in western Kentucky, southwest Indiana, Indianapolis and Seattle.
He joined Brown & Brown in 2003, when his family-owned independent full-service insurance agency, The Anderson Group, in Owensboro, Kentucky was acquired by a subsidiary of Brown & Brown.
Assured Agencies CEO Jim Henderson said Anderson’s many years of experience as both a manager and owner of insurance agencies, combined with his recruiting acumen and high energy will help the company fuel the expansion of Assured Agencies into the geographic areas for which he is responsible.
