Aspen Insurance, a provider of reinsurance and insurance coverage, has appointed Ed Beckwith as new head of its Professional Indemnity (PI) unit in the UK. He will join Aspen in December.
Based in London, Beckwith will report to Rupert Villers and John Cavoores, co-CEOs of Aspen Insurance.
Beckwith, with 20 years of experience in the financial institutions and professional lines both as a broker and an underwriter, will join Aspen from Allied World Insurance, where he served in various roles during his eight years tenure.
Previous to Allied World, Beckwith was part of Syndicate 702’s professional and financial risks team and concentrated on crime and professional indemnity for all lines.
