Duck Creek Technologies, a provider of software and services for the insurance industry, has announced that its Duck Creek Rating solution has been chosen for American Safety Insurance Holdings’ US insurance operations (ASI).
The selection of Duck Creek Rating is expected to add a unified underwriting and rating platform which their brokers can access, to bring new products and new lines of business to market.
The Duck Creek solution intends to allow ASI to maintain focus on underwriting discipline and streamline processes to improve operational efficiency. The solution allows for more granular risk segmentation and pricing precision that will enable ASI to leverage and extend their product portfolio. The implementation will begin with ASI’s Environmental Liability line and then continue for all existing lines.
American Safety Insurance Holdings is a Bermuda-based holding company offering insurance solutions for underserved specialty risks. The company provide services through its US-based program administrator, American Safety Insurance Services, and its US insurance and Bermuda reinsurance companies.
