Ascension's second acquisition in the Atlanta market, following the acquisition of Bryant Wharton in 2008
Ascension Insurance, Missouri, has acquired the Atlanta-based Haas & Dodd Insurance, effective July 1, 2009 – reported in Insurance Journal.
Haas & Dodd agency has an expertise in property/casualty insurance and employee benefits solutions for businesses and individuals. This is Ascension’s second acquisition in the Atlanta market, following the acquisition of Bryant Wharton in January 2008.
Ascension Insurance is headed by president and CEO, Leonard Kline.
Together with its private equity partners, Parthenon Capital and Century Capital Management, Ascension Insurance anticipates growing to $200 million in revenue over the next five years.
