US insurance brokerage and risk management services firm Arthur J Gallagher & Co has purchased Idaho based consulting and brokerage firm Western Benefit Solutions (WBS).
Terms and conditions of the transaction have not been disclosed by the acquirer.
WBS offers various employee benefit insurance brokerage and consultation services with a focus on group health, life, disability, retirement planning, voluntary benefits and wellness, among others.
As per terms of the agreement, WBS owner and chief executive officer Ronald Osborne and his associates will continue to discharge their duties from current Boise and Idaho Falls locations.
The team will be supervised by Norbert Chung, western regional executive vice president of Gallagher’s employee benefit consulting and brokerage operations.
Established in 1997, WBS specializes in offering self-funded and insured products to the public sector, mining, engineering and retail industries.
Arthur trades in 17 geographies and delivers client-service capabilities in more than 110 nations around the globe through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
