Arthur J. Gallagher & Co., a Illinois-based international insurance brokerage firm, has acquired Mutual Insurance Services (MIS), a Washington-based managing general agent and wholesale insurance broker.
MIS, which was founded in 1985, provides property/casualty, professional business liability and other specialty insurance products and services to their independent insurance agent and broker clients primarily in the Northwestern US.
As part of the acquisition, Connie Divelbiss and her associates will continue to operate from their current location under the direction of Joel Cavaness, president of Risk Placement Services, a subsidiary of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.
