Insurance brokerage and risk management services firm Arthur J. Gallagher & Co (AJG) has acquired Oklahoma-based Bomford, Couch & Wilson (BCW).

Based in Miami, BCW is a retail insurance broker that provides property/casualty, risk management consulting, employee benefits and personal lines insurance services to small and middle-market clients across Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas.

BCW is also specialized in offering insurance coverage for religious, agricultural and pharmaceutical clients.

Under the leadership of Gallagher’s central region retail property/casualty brokerage operations head Jay Eshelman, BCW’s Jim Couch and his associates will continue to provide services.

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. chairman, president and CEO J. Patrick Gallagher, Jr. said: "BCW is highly-regarded in the industry for its depth of insurance expertise and its client-based culture that focuses on integrity and superior service.

"Their Oklahoma presence, strong market relationships and outstanding client service will be a wonderful complement to our Central Region."

Last week, Arthur J. Gallagher also acquired another retail insurance broker Vincent L. Braband Insurance.

Based in Arlington Heights, Braband provides commercial property/casualty, risk management consulting, employee benefits and personal lines insurance services to middle-market clients across the Midwest.

With operations in around 150 countries, Arthur J. Gallagher provides insurance brokerage and risk management services through a network of correspondent brokers and consultants.
