Specialty insurance and reinsurance products provider Argo Group International Holdings has appointed Jason Dsouza as casualty and professional lines underwriter for Argo Re (DIFC).
Based in Dubai, Dsouza will report to Argo Re’s (DIFC) chief underwriting officer Lina Hantas, the insurer said.
Argo Re (DIFC) senior executive officer Tony Cabot said, "Jason’s capabilities, coupled with his experience and existing broker relationships, complement the rest of the underwriting team, as we look to offer expanded product lines in an important, growing market."
Dsouza has international underwriting exposure, working in two major underwriters in India and the United Arab Emirates and prior to joining Argo Re, he worked as a casualty underwriter for Chartis Memsa Holdings, and a process analyst and junior underwriter for AXA Business Services.
