Arag, a provider of legal insurance, has appointed David Sherman as managing director of sales.
Sherman, who is based in New Jersey, will work with entities throughout the Northeastern states to offer a unique employee benefit, the Arag Legal Center.
Sherman has an extensive background in the employee benefits market. For more than 25 years, he has worked with corporate clients, associations, credit unions and unions.
His specialty is in the sale, enrollment and administration of voluntary employee benefits – partnering with brokers, agents and consultants to bring programs to employer groups across all industries.
Sherman currently serves as president of the Voluntary Benefits Forum and is a member of the Workplace Benefits Association Advisory Board.
Arag president and CEO David Murray said in his new role, David will work to make the Arag Legal Center available to organizations across all industries.
"The Arag Legal Center provides a platform of flexible legal coverage to employees with no direct costs to the organization," Murray said.
