Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Launches Health Insurance Solution

To offer Chamber members a health plan solution intended to fulfill the requirements of access to both traditional and alternative medical care

The Boulder Chamber and Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield have ventured to offer Chamber members a health plan solution, that is intended to fulfill the requirements of Boulderites desiring access to both traditional and alternative medical care.

The Chamber Plan’s BlueFreedom consists of the healing preferences, whether the members prefer to treat a medical condition through herbology and ayurvedic methods or more traditional treatment regimens. Most plan options also include acupuncture, chiropractic care and massage therapy benefits.

John Martie, president of Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield, said: “Boulder is a very special community. We know that Boulderites have strongly held opinions and commitments to their personal health and loyalties to particular health care modalities, so we crafted the Chamber Plan to make sure they get the benefits they want, at a cost they can afford and with a wide range of providers.
