AmTrust Financial Services has entered into an agreement to acquire the Unitrin Business Insurance unit of Unitrin, a company engaged in providing property and casualty insurance, life and health insurance and consumer finance services.
Unitrin business insurance writes commercial package coverage primarily for small businesses. Consummation of the transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
