American Westbrook Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Hendricks Holding, has acquired substantially all of the assets of The American Worker Plans, an Illinois-based provider of health insurance programs to employers.
The American Worker Plans president George Duczak said this transaction enables the company to maintain an aggressive growth strategy and will strengthen the ability to enhance the products and services it offers to this challenging, growing market segment.
"Our mission of providing affordable health insurance and financial products to hourly, part-time, 1099 and tip-based employees, continues to be our guiding principle," Duczak said.
Hendricks Holding president Jeffrey Stentz said the company is excited about the acquisition of The American Worker Plans and its unique vision of serving the needs of working, uninsured Americans.
