American Safety Insurance (ASI) has appointed Patrick Driscoll as new corporate vice president of Marketing, with the responsibilities for the continued development of ASI's brand identity and overseeing sales and marketing strategy.

He has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, including 18 years at Zurich, as senior vice president of programs and group captives. He has also worked at Balboa Insurance Group, CNA and Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.

In the previous companies, he was responsible for growth and profitability and has experience in programs and alternative market products.

Most recently, Driscoll joined the company from a sales and marketing distribution consulting assignment with CapG emini.

ASI senior vice president Ambuj Jain said that Pat has proven experience helping companies visualize growth goals and achieve those while maintaining profitability standards. As we continue to expand ASI’s capabilities as a broader-based specialty insurer, Pat’s background will be an asset to the management team.
