Amadeus, an IT solutions provider for the travel industry, has entered into a partnership deal with global insurer ACE Insurance to extend its online travel insurance products through travel agencies across Singapore.
The partnership will enable travel agents to offer ACE travel insurance products in a more effective and efficient manner, with their insurance policies managed through the Amadeus reservation system. As a result, consumers can obtain instant travel insurance activation whenever an airline booking is made, offering much more convenience.

At present, ACE Insurance policies are available in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Phillipines and Thailand. The addition of Singapore will make it the fifth country in Asia Pacific to join this insurance network.
