Spanish insurance firm Allianz Seguros saw profits rise by 5.8% in 2005, representing a record increase for the company.

The insurer attributed the growth to strong performance across all of its divisions, particularly its assets under management, which reached a market value of E7.6 million, a 13% increase over the year prior. Similarly its client based increased to 2.7 million, a 5% improvement.

For fiscal year 2006, Vicente Tardio, CEO of Allianz Seguros, named the following strategic objectives: To grow sustainably and above the market average, to be the reference company for brokers, and to demonstrate a clear service orientation and a strong customer focus.
