Financial services company Allianz Group has appointed Vicente Tardio as the company's new regional CEO for the Iberian peninsula and South America.
Mr Tardio is presently the chairman and CEO of Allianz Seguros in Spain. The new position is an addition to Mr Tardio’s current responsibilities. The Allianz Group insurance companies in Spain, Portugal, Argentina, Brazil and Colombia will all be under Mr Tardio’s responsibility.
Mr Tardio said: The main objective is to coordinate and bring together improvement procedures in the different companies of these five countries, always respecting the features of national markets where we operate, while maintaining a spirit of optimization and synergies among the different members.
