Allianz Life Insurance (Allianz Life) has promoted Adam Brown to assistant vice president for Actuarial product development.
Brown will now head Allianz Life’s product development area in actuarial including the design and pricing of annuity products, as well as their risk management and capital analysis.
Brown will also support product launches and market positioning by teaming with Marketing and Distribution divisions.
Brown joined Allianz Life in 2003 and most recently, he served as a senior director within Actuarial Product Development during which he led product development for variable annuities.
Brown also partnered with Allianz VisionSM Variable Annuity and Income Protector rider, Investment Protector rider, Allianz Retirement Protector and AZL Managed Volatility Portfolios to develop Allianz Life products.
During his service with Allianz Life, Brown led actuarial recruiting team to develop and execute a strategy and also supported Allianz SE in the development of variable annuities within Europe.
