Allianz Life Insurance of North America has boosted its marketing department by promoting three members, Dan Krueger, Karen Gemmill and Lisa Hoene to the role of assistant vice president that directly influences the overall company strategy and results.
Allianz Life Chief Marketing Officer Nancy Jones said as the retirement landscape continues to change, it is essential that the company utilise their leadership and market knowledge to help people fund a more secure retirement.
Dan Krueger, currently serving as senior director of Product Innovation, has been promoted as assistant vice president for Variable Annuity products and In Force Management.
Krueger, who joined Allianz Life in 2004, was responsible for leading the Product Innovation function for variable annuities and investment options, including the company’s entry into the fee-based advisor channel in 2011.
Krueger was also responsible for overall in-force product management in addition to overseeing the product development life cycle and all forms development for all product lines.
Karen Gemmill, also a senior director of Product Innovation has been promoted as assistant vice president for Fixed Index Annuities and Life Insurance products.
Gemmill joined the company in 2011 and was responsible for leading the Product Innovation function for fixed annuity, fixed index annuity and life insurance products.
Market Management senior director Lisa Hoene, who joined the company in January 2012, has been named as new assistant vice president of Market Management.
