Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America has appointed Steve Lennick as new director of sales development & training.
In this new role, Lennick will be responsible for the ongoing development, delivery and assessment of registered securities product training on behalf of Allianz Life Financial Services.
He will also lead new employee training within broker/dealer distribution, as well as ongoing development and delivery of educational programs to expand the skills, knowledge and behaviors of broker/dealer employees.
Prior to joining Allianz Life in November of 2010 as sales securities education manager, Lennick was a regional sales director with Ameriprise Financial.
In his over 25 years in the financial services industry, Lennick has held various management positions including regional vice president of Advice Consulting, and head of insurance wholesaling for Thrivent Financial and director of Client Service and Asset Retention for Ameriprise Financial.
Allianz Life director of sales within broker/dealer distribution Chris Dungworth said Steve’s ability to train on all aspects of sales, especially within the areas of advanced markets and wires, will allow the company to make stronger connections with the financial professionals that ultimately sell the products.
