Allied Irish Banks has announced an online travel insurance sale, offering a 20% discount on annual travel insurance policies purchased online until January 31, 2008.
AIB has announced that customers can choose the standard ‘Holiday Travel Insurance’ policy or the ‘Healthcare+ Holiday Travel Insurance’ policy – which offers customers with suitable private health insurance a chance to make even greater savings as they don’t have to pay extra for cover they already have. Prices for annual policies start at E32.
The 20% discount automatically applies to all annual Allied Irish Banks (AIB) travel insurance policies purchased online and prices quoted include the online discount. Customers who buy online instantly receive their policy number and emergency numbers direct by text to their mobile making it easy and simple to get covered for 2008.
Alan Holmes, head of general insurance unit at AIB, said: This 20% discount for the month of January gives customers a great opportunity to get their insurance cover early in the New Year – saving them time and money and taking the worry out of planning their holidays. More and more customers are sourcing insurance cover online and this offer gives customers great value, helping them get cover in a simple and convenient way.
