ACE USA, the US based retail operating division of the ACE Group, has appointed Karen Griswold as new senior vice president for Commercial Marine.
Based in Philadelphia, Griswold will have responsibility for leading and managing all aspects of ACE USA’s Commercial Marine business in the US.
Griswold’s responsibilities will include national profit center strategies, field underwriting operations, and risk control services for the Ocean Cargo, Commercial Hull, Marine Facilities and Marine Liabilities lines. Additionally she will be charged with fostering the overall profitability for ACE USA Commercial Marine.
Griswold has more than 20 of marine underwriting experience. Previously, she most recently served as vice president of ACE Commercial Marine. Prior to her tenure with ACE, she served as assistant vice president in CNA’s Commercial Ocean Marine Group.
