The ACE Group of Companies, a provider of insurance and reinsurance services, has named Douglas Reynolds as the new head of international personal lines and small-to-medium enterprise business.

Mr Reynolds will be responsible for expanding ACE’s presence in the personal lines and small-to-medium enterprise (SME) markets, focusing primarily in the Europe, Latin America and Asia-Pacific regions.

Mr Reynolds joins ACE from Horace Mann Insurance Company, where he was the executive vice president of insurance operations. He will report to John Keogh, CEO for ACE overseas general, the company’s international property and casualty insurance division.

Mr Keogh said: Doug brings a wealth of insurance industry knowledge and management experience to this role. Given the burgeoning business and entrepreneurial environment in many emerging economies of the world, I am confident that under Doug’s leadership we will successfully marshal our capabilities and expertise to profitably grow our SME and personal lines business throughout our regions.
