The ACE Group, a property and casualty insurer, has launched its surety underwriting services in France in an effort to expand its presence in Continental Europe.
The company has appointed Aymeric Vinet Desrues as surety underwriting manager for its French business.
Vinet Desrues will be responsible for the growth and development of the company’s surety capabilities in the country and will be based in Paris and report to Luc Reuter, senior vice president and head of surety for ACE Europe, Middle East and Africa region.

Vinet Desrues, who has more than 12 years of experience in insurance industry, joins ACE from a global carrier, where he launched and led its French surety operations in Paris from 2007 to 2013.
