Insurance group ACE has appointed Jim Hageman as new senior vice president, claims for global personal and small commercial insurance.
Hageman will lead the global claims operations for ACE’s personal and small commercial lines, including its high-net-worth personal lines and small commercial operations in the US, ACE Private Risk Services and ACE Commercial Risk Services.
Based in Basking Ridge, New Jersey, Hageman will report jointly to Juan Andrade, division president, ACE global personal lines and small commercial insurance, and Frank Lattal, chief claims officer, the ACE Group.
Hageman has over 20 years of claims experience in both personal and commercial lines of business. Before joining ACE, Hageman served as vice president of continuous performance improvement in the claims operation at The Hartford.
Prior to The Hartford in 2006, he held several multi-state claims leadership roles at Progressive Insurance since 1992.
Andrade said that Jim’s leadership and experience will allow ACE to further strengthen its claims organization as it continue to expand the businesses both within the US and abroad.
