Wells Fargo Insurance has appointed Paul Lazar as senior vice president and managing director for its Alabama and Tennessee operations and will be based in Birmingham, Alabama, US.
In his new role, Lazar will focus within insurance sales and operations and will report to Wells Fargo Insurance’s South region regional managing director Tom Longhta.
Longhta said: "His leadership will provide our teams the opportunity to grow our organization and reinforce our commitment to satisfy our customers’ insurance needs and help them succeed financially."
Prior to this appointment, Lazar held service with Wells Fargo Insurance’s Southeast operations as the business development leader and was responsible for bank cross-sell and business development efforts across the region.
Before joining Wells Fargo, Lazar served Integro USA for three years in finance and sales leadership roles.
Lazar also held services with Ernst & Young as a CPA and also at Marsh & McLennan in New York and Atlanta.
Currently, Lazar serves Financial Executives International (FEI) as secretary and career services chair for the Atlanta chapter.
