Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) is entering the fiduciary liability market and named Rhonda Prussack as Vice President, Fiduciary Liability, to lead the effort.

"Widely recognized as an expert in fiduciary liability insurance, Rhonda will work with our customers and brokers to bring to market solutions for ERISA-related exposures, backed by our substantial underwriting acumen and balance sheet," said Dan Fortin, Senior Vice President, Executive and Professional Lines, BHSI. "She is a stellar addition to our executive and professional lines team, and to the broader Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance organization."

Rhonda comes to BHSI with 24 years of experience in fiduciary liability insurance, most recently as Executive Vice President, Fiduciary Liability at AIG. Before moving into underwriting, Rhonda was Senior Retirement Plan Consultant at Dean Witter Reynolds, a stock brokerage and securities firm.

She also worked at the New York City Employee Retirement System and at Johnson & Higgins, the insurance brokerage firm.

Rhonda has authored numerous articles, contributed to several books, and is a frequent speaker on the topic of fiduciary liability and ERISA litigation. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Brooklyn College. Rhonda will be based in the New York office of BHSI.

These new fiduciary liability capabilities are the latest addition to BHSI’s expanding executive liability product line. Earlier this year, BHSI introduced Executive FirstTM, directors & officers liability insurance for large commercial and financial organizations.
