Software company ExpeData and IT services provider MphasiS have partnered to offer Anoto digital pen technology to insurance agents to capture front-end data electronically from new applications.

Under the partnership, the companies will integrate ExpeData’s EDW digital pen software platform with the Insurance Sales Modernizations Solution (ISM).

The integrated product, which will be made available in Australia, North America and Europe, will enable insurance agents to capture and submit applications electronically, thus reducing the processing time.

MphasiS Insurance Market Unit senior vice president & head Ganesh Pai said, "We are confident that the ability to offer a highly efficient front end data capture mechanism with straight-through processing to back end systems will benefit our customers immensely."
