Mr. Roy would focus on the strategic strengthening of PIP's network

Partners In Planning Financial Group has appointed Bob Roy to the position of chief operating officer (COO) of the company and its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Partners In Planning Financial Services (its mutual fund dealer) and Partners In Planning Insurance Services (its insurance arm).

In his new capacity, Mr. Roy will be involved in all aspects of PIP’s operating entities, in particular focusing on continuing the strategic strengthening of PIP’s network of independent financial advisors and insurance agents, and client service.

Prior to joining Partners In Planning, Mr. Roy held senior management positions with CI Financial/Assante, AIC/Berkshire Financial, Guardian Group of Funds, and the First City Group of Companies.
