Cigna HealthCare has appointed Julia Huggins as president for its mid-Atlantic market, which includes Maryland, Virginia and Washington, DC.
Ms Huggins has joined the company in 1999 as assistant vice president for sales effectiveness before becoming the senior vice president of the mid-Atlantic sales and customer service team in 2004. Prior to Cigna, she had a 14-year career with Aetna, holding many positions that gave her expertise in group underwriting, national accounts, pension and financial services and financial management.
