OneShield, a provider of browser-based solutions for automation of insurance products, has launched eDelivery solution for policy and billing in collaboration with its client Privilege Underwriters Reciprocal Exchange (PURE).

The newly introduced eDelivery solution enables the electronic delivery of policies and bills directly to its policyholders (members) and agents.

OneShield and PURE deployed new workflows into OneShield Dragon, a data-driven insurance underwriting and policy management solution.

The changes introduced will enable agents, on behalf of members, to determine how policy documents will be received – on demand, electronically in real-time or printed.

PURE integrated Dragon with a third-party electronic delivery application to distribute secure, authenticated emails.

OneShield has claimed that the system will deliver important policy documents directly to members’ emails, instead of logging into a portal to obtain the documents and it also eliminates the need of remembering the user names and password details. Members can also select opt-in or out of electronic delivery.

PURE senior vice president and chief information officer Stuart Tainsky said that through the secure electronic delivery of policy and billing documents to our policyholders and agent partners, we feel we are providing an innovative method of sending and receiving these sensitive documents.

OneShield’s Dragon system has enabled us to offer options in how we deliver documents in the way that works best for the recipients, Tainsky said.

OneShield president and CEO Glenn Anschutz said that our collaborative efforts have made eDelivery via Dragon a reality, and we look forward to working together again with PURE and tackling the next challenge PURE presents.
